Milan Memory 15: September 15, 2013 Brera, bike, Milan Memory 15: September 15, 2013

Brera, bike, tram, perfectly tailored suit, dude sleeping on the tram amid the reflection of Santa Maria del Carmine — can this be any more Milan? 🚲👨‍💼🚋

BTW, it never ceases to amaze me how the Milanesi manage to keep themselves impeccably wrinkle-free whether they’re on a bike, in the metro, or nestled comfily behind their desk. Despite my best efforts, that’s a a talent I have yet to hone — no matter where I’m going, I’m wrinkled by the time I remove my coat. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Milan Memory 14: September 13, 2017 More Duomo lo Milan Memory 14: September 13, 2017

More Duomo love — just as the pre-sunset shadow started to crawl its way up the rose gold facade. 💖💫👌
Milan Memory 13: April 8, 2018 Since it’s that Milan Memory 13: April 8, 2018

Since it’s that time of year, I thought I’d just share some refreshing spring vibes. 🌸🌸🌸
Milan Memory 12: April 7, 2018 Just another day o Milan Memory 12: April 7, 2018

Just another day on Corsa di Porta Ticinese. From the colors to the pavè to the shops, I adore everything about this street.

I often go out of my way just to absorb its good vibes and vivacious energy, and I’m pretty sure that’s what brought me there on this particular day. 🏍❤️💪
Milan Memory 11: March 25, 2021 Yesterday morning Milan Memory 11: March 25, 2021

Yesterday morning was exquisite. I took this at around 7.15am during my run. The architecture, the golden light, the blue sky, the magnolias — it’s all just so Milan. And I adore the melody of the chirping birds undercut by the faint screeching of the tram. 🌸💙💫
Taking a brief hiatus from my Milan memories to wi Taking a brief hiatus from my Milan memories to wish the enchanting city of Venice a happy 1600th birthday! I hope to see her again soonish. 🛶💙🥂
Milan Memory 10: September 19, 2013 The first tim Milan Memory 10: September 19, 2013

The first time I ever saw the Duomo lit up as such at night. They didn’t always illuminate the stained glass windows, and I was completely captivated by the pop of color they added to the ornate facade. 🌈✨❤️
Milan Memory 9: March 19, 2020 The early days of Milan Memory 9: March 19, 2020

The early days of 2020’s first lockdown — before exercise was prohibited, obviously, as I snapped this pic during a run. 🌈🌈🌈
Milan Memory 8: June 23, 2016 When I’m out and Milan Memory 8: June 23, 2016

When I’m out and about in or basking in the glory of nature, I could play the cloud shape game incessantly, so I feel especially lucky for this view of the wide — and at times, blue — expanse.

On this day, I thought the clouds resembled an angel with a remarkably wide wingspan zipping across the sky into the Alps. Though the Potter Head in me sees the figure as more of a dementor disguised in white garb. 👼☁️☀️💙
Milan Memory 7: March 20, 2016 It’s that time o Milan Memory 7: March 20, 2016

It’s that time of year. 🌸 🌸🌸

I haven’t been by the Duomo in a couple of weeks, but here’s a pic of the magnolias at the rear of the cathedral, which I snapped exactly five years and one day ago. (I hope I get to see this year’s in person.🤞🤞🤞)
