These pillowy fritters from @marchesi1824 are stuffed with assorted fillings. My two faves (because I can’t pick just one!) in no particolare order: chantilly and la crema pasticcera. πŸ˜‹πŸ’–πŸŽ‘

Thank you @clivati_1969 for kicking off my Saturday with your sweet and savory brunchy breakfast: pancakes, brioche con marmellata, mini maritozzo with stuffed with tuna cream and broccoli, ham and cheese croissant sandwich, fruit, and yogurt. πŸ₯žπŸ₯πŸ₯ I’m saving the rose ginger tea for this evening.

This here is lemon polenta cake, recipe by the one and only @nigellalawson. I saw the vegan version in β€œCook, Eat, Repeat,” and thought I’d give it a whirl, but I mistook the almond-milk plain soy yogurt, which I don’t have, for almond milk, which I do have. So, I went for the original instead and I’m obsessed β€” soft, delicate, crumbly, gritty (in the best way possible, thanks to the ground almonds!), golden, and ever-so lemony with just the right amount of zing. πŸ‹πŸ’›πŸ° (And now I have a benchmark for when I make the vegan one!)
